Seven thousand walking dead recently swarmed the streets of Mexico City, allegedly demanding equal rights for zombies... but their true cause was something else altogether.

According to AFP, last Saturday's Zombie Walk Mexico – one of seven such events taking place in the capital this year – was actually organized as a food drive for people in need. A similar undead mob in the same city broke a record in 2011 when nearly ten thousand zombie enthusiasts took to the streets.
