30 years after the first film debuted, the fifth installment in The Terminator franchise has begun filming in New Orleans and images have begun to surface.

— The Arnold Fans (@TheArnoldFans) April 21, 2014Genesis (the films' current title) will feature the same core characters from the previous films, however, they have all been recast (with the exeption of Arnold). Sarah Connor will be portayed by Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke takes over the role of John Connor, and Jai Courtney plays Kyle Reese. This is being viewed as a reboot much like Star Trek was a few years ago. Key moments from the original movies will be revisited via time travel but the timeline will be altered in some way as to allow for new stories to be told. So basically a Terminator film.Teminator:Genesis is slated to hit theaters July 1, 2015
