Indian Family is Horrified When a Giant Cobra Slithers From Their Toilet

Rescuers rushed to the apartment of a family in Mumbai, India last week after a six-foot cobra emerged from the toilet bowl – just moments after a woman had finished using it.

 

 

According to the Mumbai Mirror, wildlife experts spent almost two hours tracking down and capturing the venomous snake, which had apparently crawled up into the bathroom plumbing from the sewer lines below.

 

 

“It's so scary... just the thought of a snake appearing out of nowhere when you are on the commode," said Vipul Desai, whose wife noticed items around their bathroom had been mysteriously disrupted. “No one was in the house in the evening,” he told the newspaper. “We had bolted all the rooms, including the bathroom.” After they heard noise coming from beneath the toilet lid, the cobra's head suddenly popped out.

 

 

The rescue team worked quickly to capture the snake before it could escape into another pipe and endanger the entire building.
