This week has proven to be a pretty exciting one for fans of the so-called 'Splat Pack,' which began when Rob Zombie announced that he's tossing his hockey movie on the back-burner in favor of a horror movie, described as being in the same vein as The Devil's Rejects. As if that wasn't awesome enough, we've just gotten word that Eli Roth is already hard at work on another horror film of his own, to follow up this year's release of The Green Inferno.
The Wrap reports that Roth will be directing a horror flick called Knock Knock, which he co-wrote with Aftershock collaborators Nicolas Lopez and Guillermo Amoedo. Budgeted at under $10 million, and set to start production this April, the film will center around two young girls who show up unexpectedly at the home of a married man, where they proceed to seduce him and wreak havoc on his perfect life.
In the meantime, The Green Inferno is scheduled to see the light of day on September 5th.
While we wait for both films, here's a picture of Eli Roth sharing a drink with a snake, which should hold you over!
