Last week we told you about the hundreds of spirits that possessed Latoya Ammons' home. Now comes some happyish news.

According to multiple sources, Rev. Michael Maginot of St. Stephen Martyr parish, the priest who performed real-life exorcisms on Indiana native Latoya Ammons and her family, has signed a deal with The Conjuring producer and Evergreen Media Holdings Executive Chairman Tony DeRosa-Grund, in order to bring his story to the big screen.

Ammons, a mother of three who claimed she and her children were possessed by demons in her Gary, Indiana home (possessions, she claims, included levitation, demonic voices and one of her children walking up a wall), received international attention in January after she sought out the help of Maginot, who performed multiple exorcisms on the family.  Her claims were backed up at the time by investigating officer and Gary police Capt. Charles Austin, who publicly stated, "The things I've seen at this house I've never seen before in my life."

In addition to the film deal Rev. Maginot has inked with DeRosa-Grund, the entrepreneurial padre has signed a contract with Zak Bagans, host and executive producer of the television series Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel, for the purpose of making a documentary (the latter recently purchased Ammons' home).  Maginot will return to the abode and participate in an investigation for Bagans' doc.

Hooey? Or the real McCoy? The photo below taken by Gary police appears to feature a ghostly shape in the frame.  You decide.
