I don't know what life in elementary school cafeterias is like nowadays, but when I was a kid, in the 1990s, lunch time was not just about eating mom's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, it was also about expressing myself. While I graduated to the standard paper bags when I got a bit older, I was all about the bulky lunch box in my early years, impressing friends and classmates alike with the colorful Goosebumps and Toxic Crusaders-adorned boxes I kept my treats in.
