Horror-inclined toy collectors are no doubt familiar with Funko's whimsical assortment of vinyl horror figures, especially after they launched their popular line of Walking Dead merchandise. But that was just the beginning: this month the company is launching a new horror-themed "Mystery Minis" series in time for Halloween, featuring 2.5" renditions of two dozen beloved icons of horror – including Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, Hannibal Lecter, Jigsaw, Chucky, and lots more.
Concept art for the “Mystery Minis Horror Classics” collection was teased early this year at Toy Fair, and the blog Pop Vinyls shared some early preview designs from their catalog (which also includes some sweet Nightmare Before Christmas figure concepts). They also recently tipped us to Funko's latest “Glam Shot” of the 24-piece collection display:
