In recent months, we've showcased some cuddly horror-themed designs from Horror Decor (including those awesome customizable VHS-styled pillows), but today we're excited to announce that Freddy in Space, the pop-horror-culture blog run by FEARnet contributor John Squires, is teaming up with Horror Decor to launch a series of pillows based on the popular “Madballs” toys from the '80s... but instead of using that line's original characters, artist Patrick Carson Sparrow has created new original Madballs designs based on your favorite horror villains.
The upcoming designs are part of the “Freddy in Space Childhood Nostalgia Line,” which began last month with a “My Pet Monster” themed pillow also designed by Sparrow. That item was so popular it sold out in a matter of hours, so they decided to team up on a new project, and thus the "Freddy in Space Horror Madballs" pillow concept was born.
John says the seven new original character designs, which include the ones shown here, will be released in a couple weeks – not only as individual round pillows, but also as a limited edition (25 units only) larger-size pillow featuring all the characters together.
